Afternoon Keynote: System Resilience by Design: Embedding Wellbeing at Work in Integrated Health Systems

Health systems and workplaces are under sustained pressure from rising demand, workforce shortages, and wider social and economic shocks. Yet resilience is still too often framed as an individual trait or treated as a bolt-on wellbeing initiative. This keynote will reframe resilience as a property of integrated systems — systems that are deliberately designed to protect and enhance wellbeing at work. It will explore how leadership, organisational design, and cross-system collaboration can move wellbeing at work from rhetoric to structural reality.
